One ton dry waste wood can yield about 3 million kcal while one ton steam can only yield about 0.6 million kcal. The biomass burner type veneer dryers have more energy efficiency than steam type core veneer dryer. The energy efficiency of the biomass burner veneer dryer line is almost the same as thermal oil boiler type in terms of drying veneer.
In addition to the uniform moisture content, the veneer dried by the shine core veneer dryer is flat with no buckle or end waviness, free of splits, cracks.
